New Release - iCamSource 1.3.6 - (Requires iCam 1.2.1)

The latest version of the iCamSource (1.3.6) is now available for download for both OS X and Windows - http://skjm.com/icam/support.php

It includes overall reduced bandwidth usage, a crash fix for the OS X version, improved command-line support for the Windows version, and other various bug fixes.

The authentication protocol between iCam and the iCamSource has changed, so please note that this version of the iCamSource requires the use of iCam 1.2.1 or later.

In addition, if you or someone you know are using iCamWeb "share links" to directly connect to your iCamSource from a web browser, you will need to login again to generate a new share link that is compatible with the new version.

Just update your iCam through the App Store - http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=296273730&mt=8

If you open the App Store on your iPhone it should be listed under the updates.

Regarding the "improved command-line support", can you provide a list of the available options/parameters?  For example, I was hoping to see a command line option to set the iCamSource description.  Thanks.

The iCamSource command-line options are:

-u=<user>	iCam Login
-p=<pass>	iCam Password
-v=<video_index>	Zero-based index of the item in the Video drop-down list you want to use (USB / FireWire / Built-In Only)
-a=<audio_index>	Zero-based index of the item in the Audio drop-down list you want to use (USB / FireWire / Built-In Only)
-url=<ip_camera_url>	Network IP Camera MJPEG or JPEG URL (Ethernet / Wi-Fi Only)
-cu=<ip_camera_user>	Network IP Camera Login (Ethernet / Wi-Fi Only)
-cp=<ip_camera_pass>	Network IP Camera Password (Ethernet / Wi-Fi Only)
-m	Network IP Camera URL is MJPEG (Ethernet / Wi-Fi Only)
-j	Network IP Camera URL is JPEG (Ethernet / Wi-Fi Only)
-desc="<source_description>"	iCamSource Description
