Full Events Folder Box

I searched for an answer in the threads, but no luck.

I have my Events folder set for 5 gig, in the folder I had several days of video, and up until today I could access and view from my iPad, iPhone, and Mac.

However today everything disappeared, and all that was visible was what it recorded today?

Question - When the Events Folder is full, does it automatically dump the old video?
