OSX USB Wireless CAM??
« on: April 20, 2010, 10:30:14 PM »
Currently I am running Snow Leopard with my iSight (built into my iMac) and a SKype USB FREETALKĀ® Buddy Cam.
Everything is working fine with these two cameras.
I want to add a wireless camera do you have a recommendation on a wireless camera I can add to this setup???
Please help the other two cameras were very simple to connect with iCam and my iPhone.

The WiFi cameras that we own and use are:

Linksys WVC54GCA - http://www.linksysbycisco.com/US/en/products/WVC54GCA
AirLink101 SkyIPCam500W - http://www.airlink101.com/products/aicn500w.php
AirLink101 SkyIPCam747W - http://www.airlink101.com/products/aicn747w.php

They all work with Macs, but they do need Windows to perform the initial configuration of the camera. (Basically setting the IP address.) Once it is setup, you can connect to and use it with a Mac as well.

Although here is a blog post by someone who got the Linksys camera setup with just a Mac: http://xmetal.me/index.php?id=15
