Is iCamSource still in development?
« on: July 27, 2018, 01:29:33 PM »
The supported camera list appears to be more than 6 years old and none of the links to any of the cameras work any longer.

We have been using iCamSource for several years and it has worked great. We have been using some older low-definition Foscam Cameras with no issues. We just purchased some newer high-def Foscam Cameras and they do not appear to be compatible. Where can I find a list of camaras that I can still purchase that will work? We need wifi, pan and tilt capability.

Thanks.

Yes, the iCamSource is still being developed, but the list of compatible cameras has not been updated for a while. These days, if a camera supports MJPEG or JPEG streaming, it should be compatible.

Pan-Tilt compatibility is still very device-specific, however, which has always been a problem to support. We are currently working on adding support for h.264 cameras (including pan-tilt support) for iCam Pro at the moment. Do you new cameras support MJPEG and JPEG?
