iCam Cloud Released
« on: March 04, 2017, 10:14:25 AM »
Today we are excited to announce the release of iCam Cloud!

iCam Cloud is a service that automatically backs up iCamSource motion events to the cloud as soon as they are recorded. Event backups can then be easily viewed from iCam or from the web if the iCamSource ever goes offline or the computer is stolen.

For more information, please visit http://skjm.com/icam/help/cloud.php

iCam Cloud support has also been released with today's 2.8 update to iCam for iOS, as well as the 2.9 updates to the iCamSource for macOS and Windows.

As always, if anyone has any questions, issues, or comments, please let us know.

Thank you! :)

I notice that when I look into a local folder with the files from the camera,  it's like .nfo or .raw, which I cannot access with anything.  Some of my other cameras have .wbem    Why can't I view any files that are coming in as .nfo or .raw?  IF I order the Cloud recording, will it translate these files into something I can actually view?? or is it a setting on some of my camera's that's making these show up like this?  Thanks..

The nfo & raw files are video events that are being recorded. When the recording is complete, they are combined into webm files and then would be uploaded to iCam Pro Cloud.

I see, if there are older nfo and raw files then those are likely just temporary files that were never cleaned up, so they can be deleted.

Does 2.9 for iCamsource have the same Digest Authentication that was added to 2.8.5.2?

Thanks, Bob
