Running Icam source using those mobile wifi modems anyone?

Hi, long term home user of icam here just wondering if Icam source can run and be online with a PC using a mobile wi fi wireless modem?  This could (hopefully) give me an always on connection at my workshop which isn't served by cable internet I 'm thinking?. I'm wondering if anyone here is using one of these as an 'always on' connection successfully?

  Anyone got any input on this type of setup?

Generally the dongle connections are meant for client applications, not server applications like the iCamSource. Unfortunately it is not the type of connection that will be able to accept incoming connections from the Internet.

A few mobile providers do allow incoming connections, but, for the most part, they don’t.
