Feature Request: Notification of Camera Failure

Is it possible to have push notifications sent when a camera source dies?  When I am away from home I find that my only way to status my cameras is to open up iCam and check.  It would be great if I could get an immediate notification such that I can remotely restart iCamSource or if necessary reboot my machine (I use LogMeInFree).

Is the iCamSource crashing? Or is it an issue with the webcam or IP camera?

Icamsource crashing (occasionally) is the problem that I have experienced.  I am using an old laptop (1.6 Ghz centrino w/ 1 Gb ram) so that may be adding to the reduced stability.

Push notifications are sent by the iCamSource to the server, so if it's crashing then sending a push notification isn't going to be a good solution, unfortunately.

Is your iCamSource running with a relatively high % CPU usage in the Task Manager?

I see your point.  CPU usage hovers around 25% during idle state when running iCamSource.  I am going to buy a newer computer specifically for this task which should greatly improve stability.
