push notifications not going to iPhone 5

Hey everyone, I'm a mac guy and pretty good with all my apple devices but I can't get push notifications for icam motion events to go to my iPhone 5. They go to my iPad along with the video. The videos are viewable on my iPhone 5 but i don't get the push notification that they are there and ready to view. The setting are the same on my phone and ipad. It is a refurbished phone from verizon so does that have anything to do with it? thanks

You have the push notifications enabled for iCam in Settings > Notifications? And you have the push notifications turned on in iCam for your camera(s)?

Yes all settings are turned on in icam source for push notifications and icam setting on the phone are turned on.

Have you tried removing the app and reinstalling it?
