iCamSource over 3G
« on: December 24, 2013, 01:09:15 PM »
Simple question, I've just set up iCamSource but it only works on a wireless network, I'd like to view over 3G.

You need to enable the following:
- auto config router in the icamsource program on your computer
- uPNP on your router

Are you running iCamSource Mobile on one of the iPhones? - https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/icamsource-mobile/id702939776?mt=8&uo=4&at=11lcfp

Yes I'm running iCamsource on the iphone and iCam on the iPad to view, it has a long think then throws up the server error message.

Have you tried the Options > Advanced >Auto-Config Router option? If not, please do so.

If you could go to http://whatismyipaddress.com/ from the computer running the iCamSource and send your external IP address to support@skjm.com so we can attempt to look it up in the Broker Server logs and hopefully troubleshoot the problem. Also, please reference this forum post and your user name in your email.

Have you enable Proxy Support in iCam? If not, please do so. - http://skjm.com/icam/help/proxy.php
