Iphone Data Usage when App is turned off

Greetings,

I have my source computer set-up at home through our Wifi. At work, I have my iphone that I use to monitor, but I only have access to 4G from there. My question is, if I have the app closed on my phone, but still have the computer streaming video from home, does this use any of my phone's data plan? I currently have the motion detector push notifications turned on, so unless I receive a motion push notification, I have the app turned off.

If iCam isn't actively running on your phone then no, no phone plan data is used.

Please check with your service provider. Also, uninstall icam
temporarily to see what happens. The reinstallation is free.
