ICam with USB DVR

Hi

I am new at this forum and would like some help!

I recently bought on e-bay a usb dvr (can´t post the link but can be easily found on ebay by searching usb dvr). Basicly, I connect the usb dvr to a computer and the cameras to the usb dvr and the computer will work as a regular dvr, storing the images and video. As the cameras will be connected to the pc through the usb dvr, will I be able to use ICam to see what the cams see?

The only way you'll be able to use it is if the USB DVR supports a live mjpeg stream or if Windows recognizes the device as a USB webcam. Does the DVR show up as a video source in a program like Skype? If so, you might be able to use it.
