Can you add input and output control for alarms

Can you add input and output control for alarms, like use a simple usb keyboard interface for the controls. So we can add smoke alarms and different sensors.

We aren't familiar with any networked smoke alarms or general sensors, but if there are some available that you know of  we can add it to the list of requested features.
