Camera Freeze
«
on:

After about 10 minutes the video cam freezes. The icamsource is operational (although the video window is stuck on one frame). When accessing the icam on the iphone it shows the stuck frame. I get audio, just no video feed. I'm using a G5 mac, with an isight camera and the newest 3GS iphone. Any suggestions. The only thing that works is if I quit the icamsource software and open it again. ((Seems to defeat the purpose if I'm out for a while and the video feed freezes.))
Thanks,

Is it an external or Built-In iSight camera? Does the camera light turn off when the video freezes?

It's an external isight. The green light stays on when the video freezes

I also have the exact same problem. I'm using a Mac Pro with a USB webcam and a Sony DCR-TRV510 camcorder hooked up with firewire and a IPhone 3G. The light stays on both cams. I need to restart ICam so it will work again.

Do you guys have all of the updates installed for your Mac, especially QuickTime?
If you try running this older version of the iCamSource, does it still act the same? -

Both programs are freezing my camera. Once it's frozen, I have to shut down the program completely and then turn off my camera so the green light goes off. I may get about 10 minutes of seamless video footage before the video freezes. Is this normal? Sounds from the person above this is common on different macs and cameras....(he has an intel mac and a different camera))

There was an issue with the way the iCamSource handled a timed out video stream, so if you guys could try out the latest release, I would appreciate it:

I just came back to my computer after 30 minutes and the program shut down. This has happened twice with the new program and a few times with the older program. Is there a stability issue with the program staying on for longer than 30 minutes?

When you say it shut down, did it crash? If so, there should be crash logs that start with iCamSource in Library > Logs > CrashReporter in your home folder.
If you could e-mail the most recent ones to support@skjm.com we can hopefully further troubleshoot the problem.
Please reference this forum post and your forum user name in the e-mail.
Thanks.
EDIT : Ah, I see you've already sent one.
