iCam and FileVault
« on: October 08, 2011, 04:01:01 PM »
Direct quote from Apple FileVault help: "Because your home folder is encrypted, some tasks that normally access your home folder may be prevented. If you’re not logged in to your computer, other users won’t have access to shared folders in your home folder. Also, some automations or scripts that require data stored in your home folder may not run"

Will iCam work with FileVault or FileVault2 enabled on iMacs? Any FileVault/Dropbox related problems?

Thank you

We've never tested or received any reports about FileVault but you can try it with iCamSource to see if there are any issues. You can download iCamSource from our Support Pages here: http://skjm.com/icam/support.php

Many of our users have used iCamSource with Dropbox without any problems.
