Android app won't send notifications
« on: August 19, 2011, 09:13:22 PM »
Hey all.  Love the product, been using it for almost a year now on my iPhone and Atrix.

Recently I did a reset on my Atrix and cleared all data and reset all settings.  Since then, I've reinstalled iCam and cleared all data associated with it multiple times, changed the login/pw, etc, but I can't get it to send motion detection notifications.  I can do everything else with it but no matter what network I'm on it won't send notifications.

Any ideas?

Thank you for your post, and I am sorry that you are having problems.

Please make sure that the "Send Push Notifications" checkbox in the iCamSource preference window, under the Motion Detection tab, is checked.

There is more information about Motion Detection here: http://skjm.com/icam/help/motion_detection.php

Please let us know if you have any further questions or concerns.

I figured it out, there was a notifications checkbox on the login screen of the app, dumb mistake.  I thought the individual camera screens were the only place to set notifications on the phone.
