You could have hit "Delete all" in the motion events folder in the iCam app, which would delete all of your motion events (which are stored on your computer).

Another possibility is that the folder size reached the size limit that you have set in icamsource, at which point it automatically deletes the files to start over.

thanks for your answer.
but both eventuality are not relevant, because the disc-space is large enough and the delete button, i did not tough...
i notice a second mysterious thing .... all settings in icamsouce are changed. record motion is off, sensitive is on minimum, send notification is off and so on ...

OUAnthony is correct about the possible causes of the problem. There is another possibility as well. Did you change the folder the recordings are stored in and then later delete the iCamSource registry key (or plist file on Mac)? Then iCamSource would revert to using the default folder to store the recordings and it would seem like the old recordings had disappeared. That could also explain why your other settings have been effected as well.

in the mornig all sliders and check box will be OK.
Now six ours later .... all sliders on a different position, the check boxes all disable ...
and all record folders on the pc are deleted.
whats going on at my system?

Do others have access to your computer? Is your iCam login/password unique so other people can't access it?
Also, what platform are you running, Mac or Windows?

Just to be absolutely clear, so there's no doubt, you selected a unique username and password that nobody else would think of and use, right? For example, if I chose yankeefan/jeter as my username/password combination, then there's a REALLY good chance that somebody else would use that same combination. If you want to use common words, add some random numbers/letters to the end of it.

It's possible that the registry key has somehow gotten into a bad state.
Please download and run (double-click) this file:
http://skjm.com/icam/CleaniCamKey.reg
That will erase the current iCamSource settings in your registry. You will need to re-enter all of your settings, but hopefully the problem will be resolved if it's due to a problem in the registry.
