iCamsource quitting on launch

Hi, i just downloaded icamsource for mac (running latest snow leopard 10.6.7) and the program crashes on launch. Tried both the stable and latest beta to same result. Any ideas how to fix?

If iCamSource is crashing, there should be crash logs.

The crash logs would be in:

/Users/<Your Username>/Library/Logs/CrashReporter/iCamSource_<date_time>.crash.log

or in:

/Library/Logs/CrashReporter/iCamSource_<date_time>.crash.log

If you have Mac OS 10.6.3, I think they moved the crash logs to /Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports or /Users/<YourUsername>/Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports

There was a bunch of crash logs in there from each time I tried to relauch it presumably - I've sent the most recent.

having same issue - can not find error log files. Running a mac mini on lion. Issue started happening after adding a camera... I think i am running 9 or 10. Tried everything i could think of... Just do not want to start over and adding all the camera info again. Any thoughts?

It looks like Lion hides the ~/Library directory for some reason. You can get to that directory by running Finder and then holding the Option key while clicking on the "Go" menu at the top of the screen. If you're holding down the Option key, "Library" will be one of the choices available. You should choose Library, then open the Preferences folder. The plist file will be in there.

If that does not work, you may want to try downgrading version 2.2.3 located on the iCam Support pages here: http://skjm.com/icam/support.php

Just FYI for anyone else having this problem - going back to the 2.2.3 version is solid for me.
