Use iPhone or iPad camera when I am home

I am new at this so I hope I am not asking a stupid question.

I can see that the iCam app works great to see the camera on my computer where the iCamSource is.  But when I am home for the evening is it possible to use my iPad or my iphone as a camera?  Since they are on the network and they both have cameras it would be nice to use one of them as the camera while they are charging.

I found a free app called "Mini Webcam" that allows my iPhone's camera to be a webcam accessible by the iCamSource.

Hi, sorry for so late to answer you. Recently I have been testing the tools for me to use iPhone as webcam. I learned that it is not such a difficult thing to make it come true. Only if you have an iPhone or iPad and install an app on your device and corresponded driver on your computer. You can start to use iPhone as wecam simply! The tools you may use are called WebCam, EpocCam.
