Unable to connect to one camera sources
« on: April 13, 2009, 06:44:47 AM »
I have iCamSource installed on a PC at home and a PC at work.  I am able to connect to the PC at home just fine, but the one at my office fails every time.  I get the Source Connection Error mentioned in other posts in this forum.   Are there specific sockets that need to be opened up in our firewall to allow for this to work?

iCam is designed to work with most firewall and router setups, but office networks can be pretty restrictive sometimes.

Could you please go to http://whatismyipaddress.com/ in your computer's web browser and e-mail your external IP address to support@skjm.com so that we can look it up in the iCam Broker Server logs and hopefully determine what the issue is?  Please refer to this thread in your email.
