iCamSource runs only once - Windows 7 64 bit
« on: February 06, 2011, 01:08:10 PM »
I'm having the same problem running Windows 7 64 bit. I can run iCamSource one time, but then when I try to run it again, nothing happens. The program won't open, but there is no error message. I have to reboot my computer to get it to run again. I'm using a single camera which is integrated into my Dell laptop.

Based on information located in this forum, have tried the following without success:
  • Ran registry cleaner downloaded here
  • Disabled audio
  • Uninstalled then reinstalled iCamSource
  • Last Windows update was 02/02/11 but same behavior occurred before and after

Any suggestions to help me get this working properly?

It sounds like the iCamSource window may be hidden.  When you close the iCamSource window, the iCamSource program still runs in the background.  If the iCamSource window is hidden, there will be a small iCamSource icon in the Menubar(Mac) or System Tray(Windows).  The icon is a small version of the iCam icon (camera lens).  From this icon, you can stop, start, or quit iCamSource.  If you select "Preferences" it will display the iCamSource window.
