Trendnet TV-IP100W
« on: January 20, 2011, 03:02:28 PM »
I have the Trendnet TV-IP100W working on my wireless network just fine.  It is setup with a static IP address.  When I go to http://192.168.1.66/video.cgi in Firefox I see the output from my camera.  When I enter that info into iCam Source I get only a gray screen, whereas if I setup my USB webcam I can see the out of the webcam in iCam Source.  I want to make sure this is setup and working properly before I purchase this app for my iPad, which I REALLY REALLY want to work before I leave for vacation in a few weeks.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!!!

Stefan

When you click the Start button in the iCamSource when using your MJPEG URL do you see any error message appear underneath the preview video area of the iCamSource Preferences window?

I only see errors if I try to use the auto configure router option...which I have gotten after the first time I tried to set this up

If you uncheck the Auto-Config Router checkbox are you able to connect when your iPhone is connected via both WiFi and 3G?

What UPnP or NAT-PMP status message do you see when you click the Start button and the Auto-Config Router checkbox is checked?

sorry for the late response...

The errors that I see with "Auto-Config Router" -->  UPNP_AddPortMapping() Error 402 - Invalid ArgsNAT-PMP 3,-5,0

I don't have an iPhone, only iPad.  I do have an Android device --DroidX.  I have the Android checkbox and when I connect on my droid I'm only seeming 1source which is my USB webcam...shouldn't I see both USB and the trend net camera?

Thanks for the help...I really want this to work on my iPad, but I am hesitant to buy the app until I KNOW it will work.

Thanks again!!

You should be seeing both the USB webcam and TrendNet camera if you have entered the same iCam Login and Password for both cameras.

Do you have two camera in your Cameras list in the iCamSource, one for the USB and one for the TrendNet?

If you could e-mail a screenshot of your iCamSource Preferences window with your TrendNet camera selected after you have clicked the Start button to support@skjm.com then hopefully we can determine what the issue is.
