1. Security: Create it so we can connect through IP Address & Username/Password
2. Backup of video: It's great that iCam takes video of movement, but if the "burglar" takes the computer with him, or shuts it down before you can retrieve a photo, the footage is gone. Allow some form where footage can be stored on iPhone as well.

Backup of video would require server space...which means SKJM would have to charge us a monthly fee. You can use Dropbox to backup your motion events offsite for FREE. :)

1. Most users don't know or want to know their IP address, so this is most likely not going to be high on our list of features to implement.
2. OUAnthony already answered that one. :)

I'm getting motion detection due to changes in sunlight when clouds change the nominal illumination on an outside scene. What is the frame differencing that is being used, and can you provide a method for controlling the frame or time difference for motion detection?

Are you running icamsource on a PC or Mac? I'm pretty sure they discussed this in another thread...and there was an option for Mac users to change the rate of motion detection, but not PC users. There is also a slider to change the sensitivity of the motion detection.

In the Motion Detection settings in iCamSource, there is s slider to control how often the motion detection logic is performed.  The slider is available on Mac and PC in the latest version of iCamSource.  It used to be Mac-only in previous versions.
