Hmm. That is frustrating, as the core logic is essentially the same. :o

Would you be able to temporarily make your camera accessible from outside of your local network so that we might try and connect to it using a development version of the iCamSource to determine what the cause of this new issue is? Without actually being able to replicate the problem we would just be guessing as to what to fix. :(

Your camera should likely include instructions on what steps are necessary to connect to it from a different network, and should involve forwarding a port in your router.

I had to restart my iMac this morning after a Sierra update. iCamsource fired back up, and weirdly the Wansview started working!  :o

I'm not sure what's changed, but whatever it is it did the trick. I'll keep monitoring it and let you know if anything changes.

Cheers

So, do you think iCamsource 2.8.5.2 will work for this issue? See 13 and 14 posts down on the first page. Thanks.

Yes, it should work, in theory. :)

Do any of these Wansview URLs work? - http://skjm.com/icam/mjpeg.php

If not, you can always try our URL probing page that can attempt to connect to your camera using all of the URLs in our database: http://skjm.com/icam/mjpeg_test.php

After trying for several hours to use my Wansview Q3 camera,I found this works and maybe should be added to your support page URL options. I found it works on the Wansview W2 camera as well It does not give me Pan/Tilt options on Q3 but at least I can use the software on Mac and IPhone.
