Based on what you said, it sounds like you are wanting to use the webcam's original software for chat on programs like MSN, Yahoo, Skype, etc...but still be able to view the webcam in icamsource. If your goal is, in fact, to be able to use the webcam with 2 programs (icamsource and a chat program), that is possible...but you will need to download/install a free program called ManyCam. This program will clone your video so multiple programs can use the video stream at the same time. You might have to change the video source in your Logitech software to ManyCam instead of the USB camera. Here is how I set up my system with a webcam:
1) installed ManyCam (free)
2) configured ManyCam to use the webcam as the video source
3) optional if you want to use the special effects that come with the webcam's software - configured the webcam's software source from the USB camera to the ManyCam source
4) configured my chat software (MSN, Yahoo, Skype, etc) to use the webcam's software (or ManyCam if you skip step 3)
5) installed and configured icamsource to use ManyCam
If you don't need to use the webcam with any chat programs, you can install only icamsource. Once icamsource is installed/configured, you will be able to view the camera from your phone and from icamweb (it's a website...not a program).
Regardless of what you decide to do, iCam will do what you want it to do...
