Thanks, I'll give that a go. I am using a MS Lifecam, could that software be a problem?

It's a video stream freeze only. Clicking stop button and re-clicking start button will restart it. One of the computers has a screen saver and the other does not. Neither of them is set to 'sleep'.
Prior to the new iCam source install the more powerful computer iCam Source did work very well. Fwiw I do run Logmein on both machines, it allows me to restart iCam remotely. 5

I've got latest drivers, iCam source etc. Running iCam source on two computers. One weak, one very strong. Weak one hung all the time so I thought the computer was the problem. Upgraded to 2.whatever iCam source and now they both hang.
