Does iCam support DVR functionality?
« on: November 07, 2013, 04:25:08 PM »
Is it possible to record, say the last 7 days of video?   is this possible in an icam provided storage?  or would it have to be our own hard drive?

I also noticed in the app store that some people buy "25MB of Private Proxy Data" for $0.99.  What is that used for?

Thank you.

No, video record has been requested in the past and is currently on our list of potential features to implement in the future.

Motion Events are recorded as JPEGs. More information about Motion Detection can be found our Support Pages here: skjm.com/icam/help/motion_detection.php

In regards to Proxy Support, for the vast majority of users, iCam is able to connect to the iCamSource without any additional network configuration. However, for a user whose network is particularly restrictive or complex, using iCam from outside of their local WiFi network can require some additional (and oftentimes advanced) network configuration.
