Motion Detect Wait on Windows
« on: June 20, 2010, 01:02:31 PM »
I know that if iCam is using too much CPU time on a Mac you can use a command to modify how often iCam detects motion, in milliseconds.  Is there a similar way to do this for Windows?

I'm using a netbook as kind of an impromptu-camera, temporarily, and it really uses most of the CPU power of the little thing.  It is running Windows 7.

Any help?

There is not currently any way to do this in the Windows version of the iCamSource, but version 2.0 (which we are finishing up working on) will support that functionality through the interface. (The Mac version will have that ability as well, so that it won't require copy-and-pasting things into a Terminal window.)
