Can't install 1.4.1 (and can't uninstall 1.2)

When I run the Windows installer for 1.4.1, the installation fails with a message "There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor."

I have downloaded multiple instances of 1.4.1 and get the same result with each one.

I thought maybe I should uninstall iCamSource through the Control Panel, but when I try to do that, I get the same message as above.

I looked up that error, and it looks like it might be caused because there are still some registry settings that normally would be cleared by the uninstaller.  Perhaps the uninstallation of the previous version didn't finish successfully.

Microsoft has a utility called the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility.  It's available here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301

Please try that utility on iCamSource.  If it's successful, try the new iCamSource installer to see if it works.
