Focus and frame rate
« on: October 06, 2021, 07:00:13 AM »
Is there any possibility to raise the frame rate in ipCam for iphone? As I understand, maximum is 15fps, but I would like to get higher because of stuttering video. 30fps would be great to have for a smooth view.

Also, is there a way to turn off auto focus? The reason for asking is that I'm using an iPhone to check my 3D printer and it's mounted on the printer to be able to view the correct angle of the nozzle. When the printer head is moving around the iPhone tries to focus all the time which makes it more blurry than sharp picture as it's sometime rapid moves.

In the iPhone photo settings it's possible to turn it off by pressing the focus point and hold it for a few seconds, but not in ipCam as far as I know?

I never got a reply but it doesn't matter anymore. I found out that webcam+ just suit my needs with live stream, permanent flash and on top on that a separate application in MacOS.
