interface elements off edge of screen
« on: October 09, 2014, 06:43:31 AM »
I am running the latest iCam on iOS 8.0.2 on an iPhone 5S.  The interface elements for iCam go beyond the edge of the display.  For example, I cannot access the settings button that is normally in the lower right corner of the screen that shows all the cameras.  Also, when looking at an individual camera the slider controls for sensitivity, and the View Motion Events buttons are going outside the boundary of the physical screen.

We're still waiting for Apple to review the update to iCam that fixes the UI issue, but it looks like if you rotate the phone to the opposite landscape orientation (causing the user interface to rotate as well) the "i" button shows up.

Just one of a number of weird little glitches in iOS 8, unfortunately.

Thanks.  This workaround will tide me over until Apple gets your new release approved.
