Taking stills without motion detection

Is there a simple way to take photos without motion detection?
Or even better configure the software to take a picture say every day at a a certain time?

If you're using an IP camera, it might have a built-in feature to take a picture at pre-determined increments of time. If you're using a webcam that came with decent software (like many Logitech's, etc), there might be a feature built-in to the software to do the same thing. Unfortunately, if you're using a USB camera, you'll probably also need to "mirror" the camera so multiple programs (the webcam software and icamsource) can access the camera feed at the same time. If the USB camera's software doesn't have the "mirror" ability built in already (my wife's Lenovo laptop had that ability by default), you can use a free program called ManyCam to mirror the USB camera feed. I don't know of any way to do what you want with icamsource, but I'm sure the SKJM guys will post if there's some way to do it.
