Can't see video in Preferences panel

I've installed Icam on my Iphone and Icam source on my Mac. But I can't see an video image in the prefences panel. I'm intending to use the build in camera on my mac.

I am haveing the same problem. I checked my camera and it works in other applications. Any suggestions?

It appears that the problem is I cam is not turning on the camera.

For a Built-In/USB camera, you'll need to select the "USB /Built-In / Firewire" tab in iCamSource and select the webcam from the Video drop down list. If your camera doesn't show up in the Video drop down list in iCamSource, please let me know what entries do show up in the list.

From preferences I have a drop down menu for audio with  "1-built in1" selected. But there is no drop down menu available for video and the box itself is blank i.e there are no entries.

Are you able to see a feed from the camera in any other video capture software?

Also, when trying to access the camera via iCamSource, please make sure there aren't any other video capture programs (such as Skype) running. They might be fighting iCamSource for access to the camera.

Right, I tried using Skype from my Iphone to the Mac. The Mac seems to have a problem receiving the video feed from the phone. Initially the screen is black for a while, then you get a delayed image and then it freezes. (tried it with another computer and had no problems)
I tried reinstalling Skype and got the same thing.
