Timestamp for camera image
« on: October 09, 2009, 09:05:07 AM »
Any thought given to adding a timestamp to the camera image. I use the camera to view my home while at work and sometimes not sure if image has frozen due to software glitch.  A timestamp on the camera image for solve this problem.

Thanks

Other iCam users have requested the ability to display a timestamp, and it is on our list of potential features to add to iCam in the future.

Would love to see a date/timestamp on the live video feed in iCam.

When you get around to the "recording" feature, it would already be there, no?

(Anyone aware of a way (or if it's even possible) to get a logitech quickcam 9000 to display this in the feed iCam Source picks up in the meantime  ... besides the obvious option of having some kind of digital display that's viewable in the camera's field of view????)

Thanks!  Great app, btw.

A timestamp is stored with each Record on Motion image, yes: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cfF1WCiJqMQ

It is still In Review with Apple (been over 2 weeks now) so hopefully we'll hear from them soon.
