More information about Push Notifications can be found in the Motion Detection section of the iCam Support Pages here: http://skjm.com/icam/help/motion_detection.php#push_notifications

iCam does not run in the background.

Try one more thing...try putting your computer (running icamsource) in the DMZ on your router, or hooking it directly to your modem. For some reason, icamsource is not able to communicate with the Apple server...or so it seems since your other Apps are receiving push notifications. If putting your computer in the DMZ or hooking it directly to your modem fixes it, then you'll need to add a firewall rule and/or port forwarding rule on your router.

Is your phone jailbroken? I know there have been some consistentcy issues with push notifications in the past on jailbroken phones. Mine is jailbroken, and I sometimes experience weird quirks...but I'm not sure if it's jailbreak related or something else.

I apologize for your frustration. If you would like to continue troubleshooting please send a screenshot of the iCamSource Motion Detection and the Scheduling tab to support@skjm.com. In your email, please reference this post and your username.

Also if you could go to http://whatismyipaddress.com from the computer running the iCamSource and e-mail support@skjm.com what it says your computer's IP address is we can attempt to look it up in the iCam Broker Server logs and determine what the issue is.
