AVG & ICAM - false positive?

Hi Guys, AVG tonight popped up asking to delete ICAMSOURCE.EXE I am sure its a false positive however I thought I would let you know, I searched for AVG and saw no other topics.

Is this with the latest version of the iCamSource (2.1.5)?

We haven't had any other reports of this happening, which is strange because you would think a large number of people use AVG.

(We personally use Microsoft's Security Essentials on our Windows computers.)

Over the years there was another anti-virus application that reported the iCamSource as malware a couple of times, and those were definitely false-positives as well.

ok since i posted this AVG has updated again.

I therefore decided to removed Icam from the allowed list rule in avg, i then rebooted.  after reboot I tried launching and scanning ICAMSOURCE.EXE and it scanned as normal with no moaning therefore all i can assume is it was that night update that misidentified the application.

you might as well delete this topic now, or leave it for referance up to you.
