Screen Blank on Open Laptop & Turns Off Webcam Light?

So I have searched around on the forum and haven't found a clear answer... I have two questions:

#1) I have a laptop and wondering if I keep it open but I normally keep it in sleep mode... but how could I keep the screen off on the laptop with it open using the factory webcam thats at the top of the screen to use icam remotely? Just trying to make it look like the computer is off so the screen isnt open all the time?

#2) Will iCam turn off the webcam light on my factory webcam on my laptop? I also have another microsoft lifehd webcam, it has a blue light on top of it that comes on when its on... do you guys know how to turn off the lights so it doesnt show that its active?

1. Make sure that your computer isn't configured to go into Sleep or Hibernate mode after a period of inactivity. If your computer is asleep, the iCamSource will not be actively running, and you will not be able to connect. You can still run your screensaver so that the screen is off. What are you running Mac or Windows?

2. Unfortunately, the light is something that is controlled by the hardware, we don't have any ability to disable it.
