Can see 3 cameras not 4?

In Camsource I have 4 USB cameras but can only ever see 3?? There is always one missing..is it something to do with USB Bandwidth?
I have the cameras plugged into an AS Rock 330 .. as well as a USB keyboard and a wireless mouse. (6 USB ports)
Would it help to install a powered USB hub?
Thanks

Yes, it is most likely an issue with a USB bus limitation. Have you tried running the cameras with the other external peripherals unplugged?

Hi
OK I will try this! If I can trouble is that unit ASRock 330 is ideal for running icamsource as it uses very little power and is whisper quiet... But it only has 6 USB ports and no other sockets for mouse or keyboard! Ie no ps2 sockets.
Is there any way of getting over this USB limitation?
Thanks

If the limitation is on the USB power, then it's possible that a powered USB hub MIGHT help. If the the limitation is on the USB bandwidth, then there isn't really anything that can be done.
