If you are able to connect to your MacBook on the same local network but are seeing the Source Connection Error on your Windows computer I would try temporarily disabling any firewall or security software to see if you are then able to connect. (I would also uncheck the Auto-Config Router checkbox if it never gets past "Connecting ...")

If it only says "Connecting ..." in the title bar when you have the Auto-Config Router checkbox checked I would uncheck it as it is not compatible with your router for some reason.

Are your Mac and Windows computers connected to the same router on your network?

Are you able to connect to your Windows iCamSource using iCamWeb from your Mac or from the same Windows machine? - http://skjm.com/icam/web/

When you are using iCamWeb on the same computer as the Windows iCamSource what error message do you see when you are unable to connect?

If you aren't even able to connect from the same computer running the iCamSource then there is most likely something on your computer blocking the incoming connection. What firewall and / or security software do you have installed on your computer?

When you click the Start button you still see "Connected to Server" in the iCamSource Preferences window title, correct? And you see your webcam's preview video in the iCamSource Preferences window?

I would suggest temporarily disabling both your Windows Firewall and AVG Free to see if that has any effect on your connecting via iCamWeb from the same computer.

There shouldn't be an issue with Windows Vista, no ... Do you possibly have more than one active network adapter on your Windows machine?

Just tick the bottom left corner on the preferences of icamsource. "Auto config router"
reboot both computer and phone. it should work perfectly after that.

Also for some reason it no longer recognizes my built in cam, only the usb one, why would this be?! But the main thing is to get it working at all!
