Cannot start camera
« on: August 19, 2011, 05:06:25 PM »
I have a Macbook Pro and two camera:  the internal isight camera and a USB Logitech camera.

I can configure both in icam source, but cannot start either, the "Start" button is greyed-out.

I have tried using each with photobooth when both are active, that works. I can switch from one to the other.

I have tried unplugging the Logitech, but still cannot start the internal camera.

I have re-started iCam source a number of times and have rebooted the computer with the Logitech camera plugged-in.

No luck.

Thank you for your post and sorry you are having problems.

Please make sure you have a login/password combination entered.

Also, please send a screenshot of the iCamSource window to support@skjm.com

Thanks for the suggestion.

I did have usernames and passwords entered for both cameras.

I can't explain why the Logitech camera began to work, but it did. Right now it is the only camera profile enabled, but that only worked after a number of restarts of the Icam source.

I'll try adding the internal camera later and see if I can get both profiles to work.
