Logitech Webcam Pro 9000 on Mac w/AirPort Extreme help
« on: June 09, 2011, 03:22:25 PM »
went with the Logitech Webcam Pro 9000 to try. It is a usb cam but my airport extreme is close enough to where i need it i can have it plugged in.

my question is how do i set it up?

I plugged the cam into the airport extreme and cant find it in the prefs for the airport ?

I then plugged it directly into my imac and opened photobooth to make sure it worked and was recognized by the computer. It was and worked. So i closed out photobooth and opened the prefs for icam and it did not see the cam as an option.

thoughts ?

AirPort routers do not support USB webcams. You would need to connect your camera directly to the computer.
