Possible date when ICAM will support Logitech cams?
« on: May 05, 2011, 02:48:40 PM »
So any date when ICAM will begin to support Logitech Alert 7001/e cams just like BLUE IRIS does?

I spent the money for your apps on both Android and on IPAD only to find YOU DONT EVEN SUPPORT these cams.

EPIC FAIL. ???

This is just an idea...a possible work-around until they do support them. You could try downloading/installing ManyCam, which is a FREE program used to clone camera feeds so that they can be used by multiple programs at the same time. You would add the Logitech camera as a source in ManyCam, and then add ManyCam as the source in icamsource.exe. If the latest version of ManyCam doesn't work, you might try uninstalling it and downloading version 2.4 and trying it (it connects differently).

Unfortunately, we do not have any immediate plans to support cameras that do not output JPEG or MJPEG format at this time. What OUAnthony recommends is definitely something you could try as a work around.
