Do you have all of the latest Windows updates installed? Do you see the error message when you first launch the iCamSource or when you click the Start button?

Honestly not sure if this would help...but you could try running this file first:

http://skjm.com/icam/vcredist_x86.exe

It installs some libraries/etc that icamsource needs to run properly. I'm sure the SKJM guys will get back to you if this is not the issue.

The vcredist_x86.exe file should have been installed when you installed the iCamSource originally. (*should*)

Do you remember if you saw any error messages when you installed the iCamSource?

The Error Code 14 means that the iCamSource is unable to stream video from the webcam to the application. I am assuming that you have the latest webcam drivers installed, correct? Also, is the webcam plugged directly into your computer and not into a USB hub or extension cable?

thanks OuAnthony , just run that file it ask if i wanted it repaired i said yes but still getting same message each time icam source opens and i click the start button.

Hi Stefan , no never had any problem when i first installed icamsource, i have been using it a while now from a £9.99 webcam although it used to freeze after about 12 hours so i bought from Misco a pro 9000 for business about a week ago installed the drivers from there website as it never came with CD and thats when all my problems begun belive it or not, but dont get me wrong the cam is great on it own software however i have now tried going back to my cheap cam but thats giving me same message so im really confused lol , yes all driver on xp up to date as are logitech , cam is plugged direct into computer, but as i said earlier if i rapidly click the error message im getting it will work sometimes for a min or so but today its been working for around 8 hours before it stopped , now im getting same message again, HELPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP lol

So you are seeing the error message when you click the Start button, and not when you first launch the iCamSource? Does the webcam you are trying to use with the iCamSource work well with other applications?
