Windows 7 - icamsource 2.1.1 - iCam 2.0

I know many people mentioned the problem with icamsource being unstable/crashing...and then possibly not being able to restart icamsource. Today I upgraded to Windows 7, installed icamsource, and had this problem. I noticed that I icamsource only crashed after I attempted to connect to my video feeds from my iPhone on the 3g network (worked fine on my home network). After it crashed, I was unable to restart icamsource (although I did not attempt a reboot). First, I should mention that I did not have uPNP enabled on my router (nor do I want it enabled) and did not have auto router configuration enabled in icamsource. These steps should work for you IF you had already set up manual port forwarding for icamsource. After the crash, I did the following in order:

1) uninstall icamsource from the computer
2) download and ran: http://skjm.com/icam/CleaniCamKey.reg
3) reinstalled icamsource 2.1.1
4) download and ran: http://skjm.com/icam/iCamSourcePortForwarding.reg
5) accessed my router page and took note of the ports that were forwarded for icamsource
6) ran and set up my sources in icamsource, making sure to check the manual port forwarding box and input the appropriate ports from step 5

From my experience, icamsource (current and previous versions) can become unstable if a connection fails between icamsource and the broker server/your iPhone. If you tried auto router configuration/enabled uPNP in your router, and you are still having issues...then manual port forwarding should fix everything for you. It does take patience though. :)
