Automatic Wndows Startup
« on: January 29, 2009, 10:49:53 AM »
How can I configure the iCamSource for Windows to startup automatically using a specific cam?  Just putting it in the startup folder doesnn't work, it still needs a manual start.  Are there command line parms?

Also, when minimized could it be set to minimize to a notification area ("SysTray") icon instead of a taskbar item?

Thanks! - KEM

KEM - The iCamSource doesn't currently have an auto-start functionality. That is something that has been requested by a number of other users, so it is already on our TODO list of upcoming features. :)

Autostart would be great with a service mode. I explain why.
- First example :
if there is a reboot of the computer due to an electric problem, the service would be launched even if nobody log in the computer.

- second example :
if you have multiple account on your Mac, if you switch to another one, the iCam software doesn't work anymore and the webcam is shuted down. If the software would be launched as a service, no problem.

(sorry for my bad English... ::) )
