Slow frame rate over WiFI?

Hi there, just bought the app but seem to get 1 frame every 2 seconds or so over WiFi.  The preview in the iCam preferences is fine, so what can I do to fix this?

Are you connected to the same WiFi network as the computer running the iCamSource?  1 frame every 2 seconds would be about the framerate you would expect from 3G or a remote Wi-Fi network.

Yeah I was using my home WiFi, the same that the MacBook Pro is on.

The framerate isn't limited on Wi-Fi (it is on 3G/EDGE), so it should go as fast as the available bandwidth will allow.  Does your iPhone (or the computer) have poor Wi-Fi signal?  Are there any other bandwidth intensive programs running, such as video streaming or file downloading?
