no camera preview on imac
« on: October 30, 2019, 06:22:21 AM »
Hi I used Icam source pro since a long time on my iMac with the building camera.

All of sudden my hard drive died.

Apple changed my HDD and I reinstalled all my stuff.
Now Icam can’t see any webcam.
In the video source I see the building camera but there is no preview, I can’t start the detection.
I tried with a Logitech camera, same result. The camera is displayed in the dropdown but no preview, it doesn’t seem to start the cam in fact.
The green light doesn’t light up.
I’ve tried with Photo Booth and no problem at all.
I’ve tried to reinstall, tried unplug.. plug again.. reboot… etc..
Nothing.
Can you help me please.

Stefan

What version of the iCamSource Pro are you currently running? Also, what version of macOS are you running on your computer? You may need to give the iCamSource Pro access to your camera in your computer's System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy > Camera settings.
