Feature request - bypass broker server
« on: March 14, 2010, 07:05:03 AM »
It would be really nice if there were a way to bypass the broker server...it would result in slightly quicker connection time to video feeds and reduce the chances that we would lose connectivity all together should your broker server and backup server go down at the same time. Maybe have it set up by default to go through the broker server, but provide an option to bypass it with a specific server address...for those of us with static IP's or DDNS and the technical know-how to set it up correctly. Thanks!

Well, the purpose of the broker server is primarily so that most users can connect without forwarding ports in their router, but this is something that we'll add to the list of features to potentially implement.

Thanks for the feedback! :)
