iCamSource iOS to iCam iOS - "could not be connected to"
« on: May 23, 2014, 12:31:37 PM »
Greetings -

I'm running the latest iCamSource for iOS on an iPad with 3G data connection.

On the viewer side, I'm running the latest iCam for iOS on an iPhone.

When the 2 are on the same wi-fi network, they connect and I can view the camera just fine.

When I try and view the iPad via the iPhone with both on AT&T 3G, I get "Source Connection Error - One or more of the iCamSources returned by the iCam Broker Server could not be connect to"

On the iCamSource on the iPad, I've tried turning Auto Config router on and off, but get the same error.

When I start iCamSource on the iPad and hit start, it does say "Connected to Server".

Thoughts?

If you are seeing the "Source Connection Error" in iCam, one solution may be to enable Proxy Support in iCam's Proxy Options screen. - http://skjm.com/icam/help/troubleshooting.php
