"Non-administrative" view on iPhone app?
« on: December 25, 2013, 03:41:23 PM »
Can I set up non-administrative credentials for my family just to watch the cam feed, and not be able to make any changes to the cam source (e.g. turning on motion events or push notifications, viewing motion events, setting motion sensitivity from their iPhones)?

That'd be a great feature to have especially when I need to share access to the live feed and not allow changes made unless the administrative credentials are used.

Thanks,
J.

The iCamSource is simply meant as a preview of what you are sending to iCam on a mobile device. A desktop version of iCam has been requested in the past and is currently on our list of potential features to implement in the future.

You can set up a “Share” link via iCamWeb at: http://skjm.com/icam/web

Login using the login/password combination that you set up in iCamSource.

Once you’ve logged in there will be a Share link at the bottom of the screen. That link will remain the same as long as the login/password in iCamSource remains the same.
