3G Frame Rate

is there a fix for the very poor frame rate over the 3G network? my iphone is much faster over wifi, albeit still slow. but the 3G looks more like a still frame every 3 or 4 seconds. disappointing since i am using the 3G network much more often as i work at a hospital with no wifi. any suggestions or fixes are appreciated!

Seeing one frame every 2-3 seconds over 3G is unfortunately the norm due to the bandwidth restrictions that Apple has placed on streaming applications like iCam when they are connected via 3G.
